Riverview Trail - Rock Gorge Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

wisundevil: Checking on this one, I found that the large amount of rain over the past years has eaten a deep hole that has filled with water. Putting my hiking stick in, I estimate it to be waist deep or more. And with the slanted rock sides, if someone falls in, they could break a leg. Too dangerous, so I am archiving it to be on the safe side.

Geocache Description:

Bring your own pen or pencil.  Room for small trades.

This is a little off the trail, but an interesting area.  Because of all the rock around coords seem to jump around.  You are looking for a camo peanut butter jar.

The Geocache Notification Form has been submitted to Perrot State Park of the Wisconsin DNR, special thanks to Lois Larson of the DNR. Geocaches placed on Wisconsin Department of Natural Resource managed lands require permission by means of a notification form. Please print out a paper copy of the notification form, fill in all required information, and then submit it to the land manager.
