You seek what my buddy, PinkDolphin calls a "smicrocache". It could be considered either a large micro or a smallish small. There is a log for you to sign and a few trinkets for trade, if you are so inclined. The cache is hidden in the parking lot of one of those 'Washington slept here' places, only more modern. As with all parking lot caches, remember to use extreme stealth with this one!!
In September of 2012, the city of Charlotte hosted the Democratic National Convention, where President Barack Obama was nominated for re-election to a second term. This hotel is where the President and First Lady are rumored to have stayed while in Charlotte (nothing was ever confirmed due to security).
