Geocache Description:

The archway through which you enter the church was built in the time of Edward the Confessor (1004-1066) as was the nave which is one of the finest examples of Saxon herringbone masonry in the country. This is best seen from outside.
In 1893 a tree fell on the church and it became a ruin. It wasn't until 1951 that the church was restored.

At the above coordinates you'll find the first clues to the location of the cache. You'll find the headstone of Victor Pursley. Rifle Brigade = 19AB. What year did Eva die? 19CD.

Now head to N50 58.310 W000 50.340. Look for the headstone for the Mr & Mrs Wilde. Arther was born February 25th, 1EF9.

Now to N50 58.310 W000 50.328 and you'll find an old grave under the tree. You're looking for Dorothy Willis. You need the following information: OB. Aug 31, 18GH Ret JK.

Now you have all you need to find the cache. GPS signal was pretty patchy around here when setting the cache. N50 58.(B-A)(C-D)F W000 50.(K-J)(E-H)(C-G)

If anybody would like to expand to this series please do, I would just ask that you could let sadexploration know first so he can keep track of the Church numbers and names to avoid duplication.
