Sometimes you find something that you look at and say, you are going to become my geocache. I can say I have never seen anything like this before, and there may be for a reason for that, but I reckon it will give people a laugh.
This is the entrance that I have entered the Olinda Forest from thousands of times from about when I was 10 years old. First as a runner, then looking for Lyrebirds and generally loving this forest.
The cache container - Well what can you say about a 1m high container that has no room for swaps. I believe Mr Gump might have an opinion.
GPS reception in this area is shocking. I have used the iphone 4s coordinates as they are more accurate then my etrex 20 which had the coordinates of s205 and e207. But it may be best just to walk down Bartlett track about 50m Look left (north) at the fattest grey gum tree with a hollow top about 30m away and go and check it out.
You will most likely find leeches and get dirty shoes.
