Ich wohne jetzt seit mehr als 10 Jahren hier in Clausthal-Zellerfeld und so nach und nach bekommt man auch die Geschichte des kleinen Städtchens mit.
Schon immer habe ich mich gefragt: "Isses oder isses nicht?" Ja es ist ... eine der ehemaligen Brückenbauwerke für die Innerstetalbahn. Warum auch sonst sollte an einer normalen Straße plötzlich ein Geländer ein Verbot für Fahrzeuge über 16 Tonnen stehen?
Ich habe irgendwo im Internet gelesen, dass sie wohl eine lichte Höhe von fünf Metern gehabt haben soll. Man kann sich also ausmalen, wie viel Material zum verfüllen der Brücke nötig gewesen ist.

I read somewhere on the internet that it should have probably had a clear height of five meters. One can only imagine how much material it needed to fill the bridge.
