Nell Fenwick was a long suffering damsel in distress who was perpetually being rescued by Dudley Do-Right.  Tied to the railway tracks for the millionth time she finally saw the light, and applied for a job with the railroad company.  Whenever you see a train go by, give the engineer a wave - it could be Nell.
