Island View Traditional Cache

A beautiful and scenic drive along Shell Beach Road!  From this rocky beach, the view across to Ladysmith is lovely.  Please feel free to share your photographs of the harbour and any wildlife you see.

You can park in a turnaround.   It's a very short walk along a trail to reach the cache.  To reach it will require some agility to descend the path.  You'll enjoy a picturesque bay in the heart of the Gulf Islands!  The area is scenic and serene, just minutes to the Island Highway. The lovely seaside town of Ladysmith is just across the way with Nanaimo a quick 20 minute drive North.  The ocean view is spectacular with the neighbouring mountains and the Gulf Islands. This is a place to unwind, relax and rejuvenate. This is a 'Perfect Hideaway' - to hide away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, far from the maddening crowd.
