Geocache Description:

Hidden Micro cache on a beautiful part of the river Part of a series of 4 caches based on a T.V. program I used to enjoy.

Hammy's Hideout


It was a very exciting day on the riverbank. Someone new has moved in and had invited Hammy, G.P. and Roderick round.

The three friends soon found the newly painted front door above which was written the name of their new neighbour. " George Oliver Cacher" in big red letters. The door was open and so in they went.

"Hello!" called out G.P. "Anyone home"

"Oh Hello, come in, come in,” came a voice from the kitchen, " Oh you already have, oh good, yes, Hello. Please call me George, Yes, right, welcome to my home, but, yes, I was just going out for a walk, yes, do you want to come along?"

" That's a champion idea” exclaimed Roddy.

" Oh well ,yes, I do not know, yes, Ok. let me just get my G.P.S. then I will be able to find my way back if I get lost."

"G.P.S.? what is that then” asked G.P. Who loved to find out about new things.

“ I will show you as we go. It is a very exciting thing and a great game.”

So off they went George told them all about his hobby and even let them have a go. Hammy was most impressed but did not really understand. So he decided to go and hide to see if Georges G.P.S. Thingy could find him.

He found a great place to hide in one of his favourite trees. He even managed to hide behind a piece of wood. Then he waited, and waited, and waited. No body came and found him and it started to get dark. So Hammy decided to stay there until the morning. He curled up and went to sleep.

None of his friend even realised he had gone off. So no one was even looking for him. Unless of course you are..
