Tranquility Pointe Traditional Cache

In an effort to bring you out to beautiful locations on the seacoast I give to you: Tranquility Pointe.
This spot reminds me of an area east of Honolulu with the smell of the ocean and sounds of waves breaking on the rocks in the distance. Be sure to bring a camera as there are spectacular views of the ocean.
The following is taken from the Canine Beach write-up as it pertains to this cache as well: “There are not many places to swim between York and Rye. Seapoint is "swimmable" in season, but "walkable" year round. It’s rugged, primitive and that makes it just right for that off season or off-hour summer stroll with your four-legged friends.
The beach is open to dogs year-round, and the beach and parking area closes between 11 pm and 3 am. There is limited parking, with additional spaces nearer the beach for Kittery residents only.
Dogs are banned only during the key summer daytime hours; they are only NOT allowed on the beach between 10 am-5 pm between June 15th and September 10th.”
You are looking for a well camouflaged waterproof container hanging on a hook at the bottom of a stunted looking tree. You will have to duck down to retrieve the cache. Please replace on the hook when you are done. If possible re-cover with the nearby grass.
The FTF prize is a real treasure: a silver dollar coin from the late 1800’s!
Enjoy,
-Tim&Cara
