Reaching the rank of Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America requires years of dedication and hard work. In addition to 21 required merit badges, each Scout must complete a project that benefits their community.
The focus of Luke A.'s Eagle Scout project was an 8ft x 10ft flagstone patio with two benches and a wrought iron cross. Many new bushes and shrubbery were planted as well as a lot of mulch, annuals and general gardening. Luke completed the project with the help of Troop 291, community members and donations from local merchants.
You are looking for a hidden magnetic key holder off the school/church property. Please visit the project - the school custodian knows about it, but it's best visited when school is not in session. Be stealthy but be honest about the cache if asked. Eisenhower Dollar for FTF.
After setting up the Cache to Eagle series, I was impressed with so many projects, but larger containers weren't appropriate at many of them.
Eagle Scout Projects give these young men an opportunity to plan, design, manage and complete an entire project that also gives back something to the community. This will be one of several caches beyond the Cache to Eagle series that show the hard work that these young men have planned and completed. I congratulate them all for their dedication and hard work that goes along with this achievement.
