Geocache Description:

A typical Village Hall.

A typical Village Hall, used by the locals as a venue for Weddings and other celebratory functions.  It also supports a vibrant shooting range and club.
Close to Strachan's Cave, Kaukatea Valley Road, which was built in the 1850s and is a rare surviving example of a privately built refuge against Maori owing to the then relative isolation from the main Pakeha population at Wanganui,
The Strachan's excavated a nearby hillside, creating a cave to retreat to in times of threat.  The cave is on private land and may NOT be visited.

Conveniently positioned between Gordon's Bush and Gilfillan's Tragedy Caches.

Cache is a small container with room for log and small exchanges. Bring own pencil.
Owing to previous difficulties in finding, Cache is now relocated
