Had bike ride down from Playa Del Rey to Hermosa this Saturday morning with a couple of friends. It's my first bike ride on the strand in 20+ yrs. On the way, a bike race at Dockweiler just ended. That explained the stream of vehicles leaving the beach when it was yet just mid-morning. We stopped at a beach cafe near Manhattan Beach, sat around a table and chatted over some blended mocha and coffee. A crowd of surfers were trying their best in 1 to 2 foot beach break while we were taking our break. Hence, the cache name. The cache is a few feet from the cafe, but just off the bike path. Be careful of bikes screaming around the turn near GZ. If you hang around long enough, you might get attached to this place.
