Dorf im Schlerngebiet / Paese sull` altopiano dello sciliar

Völs am Schlern liegt auf 880 m am Fuß des Schlern und zeichnet sich durch sein mildes Klima aus. Als Kurort ist Völs am Schlern beliebtes Reiseziel für Gesundheitsbewusste und Genießer, aber auch Aktivurlauber ziehen die zahlreichen Wanderwege nach Völs. Zu den Sommer-Highlights zählen das Baden im Völser Weiher, das Wandern und Radfahren. Im Winter widmen sich Aktivurlauber dem Rodeln, Winterwandern und Eislaufen.


Fiè allo Sciliar si estende su un'area che vede il suo punto più basso a 315 m e quello più alto a 2.564 m sopra il livello del mare. La frazione più alta è a 1130 m di altitudine. Tra bassure, valli e alta montagna si trovano terrazze delle montagne medie - formate dai ghiacciai dell' epoca glaciale nelle quali è incassato il paese di Fiè allo Sciliar (a 800 m).
