LT: Arvydų-Bezdonių dvaras turi ilgą ir permainingą savo istorijos vagą. Dar viduramžiais čia lankydavosi istorinės asmenybės. Plačiuose apylinkės miškuose mėgo medžioti pats Jogaila. Prieš išvykdamas karaliauti į Lenkiją, dvare jis priimdavo delegacijas iš kaimyninių kunigaikštijų ir net pačios Senosios Rusios. XVI a. jau Žygimantas Senasis dvarą ir žemes aplink jį padovanojo tuometiniam Vilniaus pinigų kalyklos vedėjui Ulrichui Hozijui. Vietiniai gyventojai manė, kad dalį iždo pinigų jis laikęs dvaro rūsyje, esančiame slaptame atsarginiame išėjime. Visi tie lobiai taip ir liko žmonių svajonėse, o gal ir kažkur giliai dvaro rūsyje. 1609 m. Ulricho Hozijaus sūnus Stanislovas dvarą padovanojo Vilniaus jėzuitams. Tuo metu čia lankydavosi garsus peotas Motiejus Sarbievijus. Taip dvaras keliavo iš rankų į rankas, kol tarpukariu, lenkams užėmus Vilniaus kraštą, jis atiteko paskutiniam žinomam jo Ponui - Koscialkovskiui. Pastarasis garsėjęs savo laisvu gyvenimo būdu, dvare rengė kortų žaidimų bei svaigalų gėrimo varžybas. Pats patogiai įsitaisęs dvaro belvederiniame bokšte iš muškietos šaudė į aplinkui besiganančias karves. 2002 m. dvaras buvo nupirktas ir atrestauruotas.
EN: Arvydai- Bezdonys castle has a long and diverse history. During medieval times it was a place that great names in history used to visit. Duke Jogaila himself used to hunt in broad forests of this area. Before he was elected to be a king of Poland he used to receive various delegations from neighbouring kingdoms around or even from Old Russia. In XVI century Zygimantas Senasis gave the castle and the surroundings to the contemporary director of Vilnius mint Ulrich Hozijus. Local people suspected that chunk of Vilnius’ treasury he held in the castle’ secret underground corridors built to escape the castle. All those treasures were left for ages in peoples’ minds or maybe somewhere in the basement. In the year 1609 Ulrich Hozijus’ son Stanislovas donated the castle to Jesuit Order. At that period famous poet Motiejus Sarbievijus used to spend his time here.
The last known lord of the castle was polish duke Koscialkowsky. He was best known for his loose manners and arrangements of various card playing and alcohol drinking events. His favorite activity was shooting cows from the castles belvedere tower. In a year 2002 the castle was bought and restored.
