Skippy Traditional Cache
Trail.Blazer79: Was out this way for a puzzle cache, decided to do a routine check, and sadly Skippy is gone. It had a good run. I'll archive this & maybe replace later. The tree is totally destroyed. No doubt from the recent storms :(

Take route 422 East to Lincoln Rd in Exeter, then turn Right onto Shockley Dr. then left onto Hanover. This trail runs parallel to the Schuylkill River. People do hike here, and there are quads and dirt bikes, but the people are alert and respectful of hikers on foot. Congrats to Waterbugme on FTF : )
At the end of the Rd you will locate a trailhead, near a water treatment facility. you will need to cross railroad tracks, so use caution. THIS IS NOT PRIVATE PROPERTY, THE WATER TREATMENT PLANT IS PRIVATE PROPERTY, BUT IF YOU STAY ON THE TRAIL THERE WILL BE NO ISSUESPeople fish here often, and swim in the creek during the summer. When you get to the bottom of the steep hill, turn slightly right and you will see a wide path. the cache is about a half mile down... if you reach a private property sign, you went too far. The Cache is a plastic peanut butter container decorated with blue painters tape. It is located inside a hole (right side) at the base of a very big tree, (it's the widest/ tallest tree on the trail. easily accessible. the trail is easy to manauver. once you reach the trailhead, make a right when you get to the bottom of the hill. the cache is about a half mile down. just look for the giant tree with a hole at the base. Cache will located to your left.
