You can find this cache near a drinkable-water spring it is in a wooded valley near Gyürüfü it is a forest öko-pleasure resort.
The Istenkút-forrás (Well-of-God spring) rises from a narrow and wooded valley of the Zselic hilly country between Dinnyeberki and Gyürüfü villages.
You can drink the water of that.
The road between these villages is in pretty bad condition (you know the number of inhabitants of Gyürüfü is about 30), therefore you have to decide if you wanted to drove near to the spring. The coordinates of the spring are: N46° 6.565’ E17° 56.020'
History of the memorial stone board of the spring This forest was the shelter of seven soldier (one of them was a military padre) of Y1848-49 Independence War it was in progress against Austrian Habsburg-house. You know the Austrian emperor was the Hungarian king at the same time. Hungarians declared the dethronement and proclaimed the Hungarian independence in the course of Y1848. revolution. The emperor formed an alliance with Russian czar and they suppressed Hungarian revolution in the course of the Independence War of one and half year. Merciless vengeance came after this and a lot of Hungarian heroes had to live in emigration or desolate places - these seven heroes too. Later the situation got normal, and this seven soldiers got back to where they once belonged. Before this they have raised the memorial stone. You can read the data of building on the board, it is 1862 - 150 years ago.
