Badger's Nadgers Traditional Cache

My first geocache - more to come - all with Badger themes. Badgers are awesome!
FTF gets a new LED reading lamp and $2. Also in the cache are some stickers, some badger tokens and a lapel pin.
Cache is a sandwich sizes Sistema box.
This GC is located close to the ocean at Dee Why Lagoon. It is next to the public path and requires no bush bashing - which would be bad in this regeneration area. This cache can is midway between Jamie's Box and Good Grrr Reef and makes a very nice walk along the beach from Dee Why to Long Reef. Bear in mind that Dee Why Lagoon periodically fills up with water before spilling into the ocean - so depending on where we are in that cycle you may need to wade across the outflow area of the lagoon. Once the big draining has happened there is usually a less than knee deep flow from the lagoon to the ocean until it silts up and the beach rebuilds. The lagoon is nice to swim in and mostly very shallow and warmer than the ocean. There is parking at the James Meehan Reserve (paid) or free in the streets of Dee Why, although this can be at a premium on sunny weekends. Alternatively, you can park at Long Reef Surf Life Saving Club
