The Xaqqa valley is not easily noticeable while driving down or up but could be noticed if walking by and looking over the stone wall. Parking is possible very close to the valley entrance making sure to park on the side of the road as the road is active all day long including busses. If arriving by bus (Arriva) you will need to hike for 1km to get to the valley entrance unless you ask a kind hearthed driver to drop you there in the first place. The bus numbers to get you to Ghar Lapsi are 71 and 109 (taken from Arriva website - www.arriva.com.mt for route updates).
Going down through the path of the valley is easy as there is only one available but to keep special attention as it may require beginner climbing skills most especially for the way up. Recommended to use good grip shoes and insect repellant.
The view deep down the valley is great - there is practically no sunlight all day long except maybe during sunset which is an added bonus for when the timing is right. There is also a large sized hole through the rock looking like an arc and a small cave as well. This is not visible in any photos of this page.
