Geocache Description:

A little get together to meet some of the people whose names you only get to see in log entries and on the website.

The event will be held on Saturday October 20, 2012 at Cala's Restaurant, right on Route 5 in Derby NY.  The event runs from 9 am - 11 am.

Details are as follows:

Breakfast will be served as a buffett and will include Fresh baked muffins, Assorted juices, and coffee/tea/pop.  The food will included scrambled eggs, homefries, bacon/sausage,french toast, and a fresh fruit cup.

The cost will be 11.95 per person plus tax and tip and the owner said kids under 10 will be 2 for 1 price.

Since this area has exploded in the past year with hides, I firmly expect to see all of the regulars here such as: Detecto, The 3 Hacks, Overgrown Cubscout, all of the Deadliest Cachers, AFL, Cyfinders, Joshrandel, Coliwood, and everyone else who has hidden caches in this town.

I recently was in Michigan and ran into a geocacher while looking for a hide around Comerica Park and he was telling me about a town he cached in on his way to PA along route five, a town called Evans, NY.....and I thought, how ironic. he went on to tell me about how they could have gotten 50 caches very quickly if they weren't on a time restraint.

I am looking for donations to do raffles such as ammo cans, or any geo swag for that matter.  Similiar to Barbershop Dru's event that was held in North Tonawanda last year...

BTW, I was talking to someone at that event who told me that they knew someone that carved the walking sticks.  Not sure whether it was another cacher or not but I would really like somelike like that for the event.

Please be sure to note attendance as soon as possible since its in under a month so that I may keep owner updated on attendance figures, thanks alot.
