Geocache Description:

Welcome to Mathis Park and Crystal Lake in Hopewell VA. Plum might call it a "superdee" nice park!
This hide requires a small walk from the parking area of about 500' or so...
No real bushwhacking required to get to geocache, but you will have to walk up a couple of small hills.

I suggest parking at the red brick building (bathrooms) and then go directly behind them to walk up the little path into the woods. Very short stroll east thru these woods will lead you to a small paved road; take a left on this road and go down about 99ish feet or so, then turn right & follow the big path up into the Woods. Once you get to the large clearing the city made to support our electrical demands, you are close to the GZ.

FYI> Bring your own pen... the actual LOG container is not big enough for any writing utensils...& don't forget to Log your Log

      > trash can is right next to parking area, so don't forget to CITO, even if it's just 1 piece...
      >there are a couple of other geo's here in this wonderful park if you wanna get them...

      >LIG and if you happen to run into Logan while you are searching for the cache, then you are good... He is a real solid guy.

  & oh yeah... BTW, SS6 figured he Wood hide this cache in Sep"timber", because that is the lumberjack's favorite month... haha, hardy har har
