Friends in High Places Multi-Cache

This cache has been archived.

waypoint_wayne: Sorry but the cache and clue have both gone missing. Also the trail is overgrown to
the point it no longer exists. Just a lot of bushwacking.
Due to the level of effort it would take to place another clue on a cliff face I am archiving this one.

Geocache Description:

This multi-stage cache lets you experience great heights vicariously. Meaning you don't have to leave the ground because you have "Friends in High Places"

Binoculars are a must

but you may get by with a camera that has a good zoom lens. You can bring kids if you want but if you do keep them on a short leash. THERE ARE CLIFFS!!!

STAGE 1

The posted coordinates will take you to stage one where you need to get a glue from your "Friends in High Places". Park at the PK waypoint and  walk down to the bottom of Stanaford Mine rd. The coordinates of all points are approximate because my gps was bouncing but it's easy to find. When the pavement ends and the road levels out you are there. Using a pair of binoculars visually scan the cliff face on the North side of the road. There's a clue up there you will need. (You'll know it when you see it but it's relatively small so you may have to search hard.) Once you spot the clue you can proceed to the final stage.
The final stage is located at:

N37 47.ABC
W81 09.DEF

Where:
A = clue minus 2
B = clue minus 5
C = clue minus 6
D = clue plus 2
E = clue plus zero
F = clue plus 1

You can check your answers for this puzzle on GeoChecker.com.

STAGE 2 beware of cliffs! There is no need to get near dangerous drops so DON'T!

Go back up the paved road toward the parking waypoint where you came from . Climb up the bank onto a trail. The trail head to stage two is here: N37°47.615 W081°10.116. This trail will lead you to the final stage which is somewhere on the hill side above the clue. When the trail starts making a hard left bare right on the less obvious descending trail here: N37°47.583 W081°10.099. After you find the cache proceed past it if you choose to do so and enjoy the kewl rock formations above you.
