Geocache Description:

TONGUE TWISTERS TO TEASE THE TIRED TRAVELER’S TANGLED TONGUE (T9)

Hello weary travelers! Welcome to my Tongue Twisters to Tease the Tired Traveler series! Hopefully these will keep you thinking and awake for a while down the road. I know that when I have caches along the way on a long road trip, the trip seems to go more quickly. I get back into the rig feeling refreshed and less weary. I hope that these help you all on your long drives. This series of caches will not only help you stretch your legs and get your blood moving again, but will also help stimulate your mind more. Aren’t you glad I’m here to help you out?

Here is your new tongue twister:

The sixth sick Sheik’s sixth sheep’s sick.

Bring your own pen.

There is parking by the cache site, but might be a bit harder for a very large vehicle to turn around.

This is “Crystal Lake.” It’s always been “The Slough” to my family and the town, until just a couple years ago, when some newbie decided to make it “Crystal Lake.” There’s nothing crystal about The Slough! lol It has turtles, frogs, ducks, geese, herons, sunfish, perch, catfish and stocked trout, along with all the other kinds of wetlands creatures. I used to ride my bike here when I was a kid, and fish for sunfish and perch. My mom and sister caught a bucket-full of catfish here once, and took them home. My dad wouldn’t clean them, so they took them back and let them all go. Boy, was he mad! SO, that’s your little bit of Wiildrose and town history today. Enjoy this cache ‘n dash, and WATCH OUT FOR MUGGLES. There are plenty of those here!

CONGRATULATIONS to RLDrosophila & GSFirefly on their Co-FTF!
