Geocache Description:

8/22/13: It looks like they finally put up some maps of the trail...

How can I resist a good bridge? Located along the Lone Mountain Trail. Face high if your a short guy. Bring a writing implement because if you don't ink the log, your entry will be deleted.

Recently while walking the dog, I noticed signs for Lone Mountain Trail. We walked for quite some time, and then turned back. When we got home, I looked it up online. The information was spotty at best (still haven't found an actual map of the trail). The trail begins/ends at the Bonanza Trailhead on the North side of Summerlin Pkwy and winds north 6.5 miles to the Wayne W. Bunker Family Park at Alexander and Tenaya. Oddly enough, the trail does NOT go to Lone Mountain. Additionally, the trail is not well marked, so there is a chance of losing it in certain spots.
