Geocache Description:

You are looking for a small bison tube containing a signature log only.  You do not have to enter the Mansion Property to grab your smiley.  Parking is plentiful.

The Wardlaw Smith Goza  Conference Center, better known to those who live here as just "The Mansion", is a long time land mark of Madison.  It was built in 1860 as a Family Residence and served for a short time as a hospital for the wounded of the Battle of Olustee in 1864.  During the Great Depression it was used as one of the WPA Offices to distribute commodities to those that needed assistance.  Today the North Florida Community College owns it and several times per year it is open to the public for free tours.  The Mansion is just one of many buildings that date back to before the War of Northern Agression.  Two blocks over is the Four Freedoms Monument and a fun Multicache for those that like a challenge. Congratulations to Ed and Terry Dadez for the First to Find!!!!!!
