Richmans Creek was a small settlement existing in the late 1800s and early 1900s.
The settlement of Richmans Creek exsisted in the early 1870s. The settlement consisted of a hotel, blacksmith shop and Cottrell & Fyffe opened their first store. In 1879 a Church was built and in 1899 the Church ceased to be Bible Christian and became, through amalgamation, Methodist. The Church building was also used as a school in 1880 through to 1945. Sport was also popluar in the district and Richmans Creek had it own oval for cricket and tennis courts. Ruins of the hotel (Iklee Iklee Hotel later known as Itali Itali Hotel) and the cricket pitch are all that remain today.
