The hint is in the name of the cache. It is tethered so it won't run away or be carried away. It's up off the water and waiting for you to find it. Be careful getting in and out of your boat.
This is DEFINITELY a boat (Yak, canoe, or similar) caching adventure. You will be out in the REAL nature so be prepared. Any cacher trying to walk to this cache would be sorely challenged. There will be critters out there since you will be in their environment. Alligators, snakes, mosquitoes, spiders, raccoons, are very common so don't be surprised.
This cache is an official Riverboat Rally cache as sanctioned by ocklawahaboy and reviewed by Geocaching.com reviewers.
Please replace the cache just as you found it. Since it is out on the river, we've taken care that high water level won't disturb the caches. If you find them laying out in the open the ground, then that is unusual and needs to be corrected. Put the cache container back it the most likely spot right where you found it. Don't move it far away from where you found it.
Please report any maintenance issues. It may be longer between maintenance runs due to these cache locations. Have fun but please be safe and cautious during your cache searches. There can be lots of mud, some water, poison ivy, spider webs, mosquitoes, etc. since you are out on the river. I wore top of calf wading boots when we placed these caches.
