Geocache Description:

This cache is in a typical quiet neighbour hood area.

Its the Australian Flag flown in the front yard of one of these homes that is of real interest.
This flag was used as an adornment on the ceiling of a combat helicopter while on Operations in Afghanistan.
For many troops the flag flown inside the cabin of the helicopter was the only way they knew  it was an Australian crew, transporting them safetly to their destinations across Afghanistans deadly country side.
Take your time to read the sign which tells of the flag & its crew. The sign hangs on the fence, near the flag.
The cache is NOT near the fence or the home mentioned in the description
The cache is a  log only. BYO pencil.
To some cachers they will consider this a drive by.
