Geocache Description:

This cache is loated at a rest stop on the newly completed (Maia to St Leonards) section of the Harbour Cycleway. This cycleway is planned to eventually extend all the way to Port Chalmers.

This is the first cache hide by the junior members of TeamBlackNZ. It is the kind of cache we often appreciate - a simple find that we can use as an incentive to keep the kids moving in the right direction towards our greater goal for the day.

There is no safe parking at the cache site. You will need to park at Maia, St Leonards or some other location along the path, and walk or cycle to the vicinity of the cache.
