A bush geocache place on the western ridge of Mount Riverview
When I was younger living at Warrimoo, I would always look out my bedroom window. As the window faces to the east, I could see many parts of Mount Riverview across the highway and over the gully where the Cripple Creek and other creeks flow through. I always wondered what the view must be like from the Mount Riverview side, wondering how much of Warrimoo could you see. I decided to find my way to the western ridge of Mount Riverview and see what the possible view has to offer. I was presented with a fantastic view. Not only could you see most of Warrimoo, but alot more of the areas up the mountains too. It was a pleasent view that I did not expect. I won't give you anymore details, I guess you will have to come see for yourself!!
Geocache Information: There is many ways to this cache co-ords. Most ways have a faint bushtrack which should be easy enough to follow, some areas do not. It depends on how you decided to get to the cache co-ordinates. Although there is a fantastic view, You will have to watch your feet at ground zero, there are some cliffs with some big drops. Pay special attention to your surrounds as there is many different levels of rock. To get the cache, you will need to carefully navigate your way into the hide. It is a little bit dangerous but if you take your time and not rush, use caution, you shall get a succesful find. Take care and enjoy the view. Happy Caching.
