Geocache Description:

I never realized Verona Beach State Park contained about 1500 acres east of Rt#13.  It is generally flat and has some swampy areas along with several sandy walking trails to enjoy.  There is a small lake where fishing is permitted. Free parking is available until dark or when the gate is closed for the night.  Watch for horses and their byproducts.
 

This is a veteran cache that has seen duty in Canastota and Rome and is returning to service in Verona Beach State Park. About a dozen frustrated Rome cachers will recognize the container. Verona Beach State Park permit # VB-007
