Geocache Description:

You're looking for a small bison tube container near a prominent multi-tool manufacturer.  There's no need to get near the fence (be careful, there's barbed wire) and no need to enter the reservoir area. Security here knows about this cache, but there can be turnover, so please be stealthy.

This is the first cache in a series planned to celebrate my family.  This particular cache is dedicated to my dad, whose name is Guy.  While I was growing up, my family did a lot of outdoor activities.  Whenever my mom would see a mushroom of any kind, she'd say: "You know, your dad is a real fungi."  At the time I'd just roll my eyes at the terrible joke on his name, but it's been said so often that it's stuck with our family for decades and is hilarious to me now.

The placement for this cache is also a tribute to my dad.  My dad is quiet, no-nonsense, loving, and wonderful.  He worked my whole childhood at a job he didn't particularly like to provide for us.  When he had the chance he retired early and did what he'd always wanted to do - become a prop engine plane pilot and mechanic.  He is very handy, so this location (both near the airport and near a mecca for handymen everywhere) is perfect.

Also, if you feel inspired to share a story about your father or a father figure in your life, please do!
