New Geocaches released in honor of the Wild Turkey Days Celebration in Spencer, Nebraska. Since this is not a traditional event, there will simply be First to Find prizes in some of the caches.
We hope you enjoy the hunt whether you are new to geocaching, or long-time hunters. Feel free to join our community for the other Wild Turkey Day celebrations going on.
This is first stop in the Tom Turkey Trail. Many wild turkeys have been seen in this area. Many local folks have fond memories of fishing and ice skating on this pond.
Due to the extra dry weather, please consider parking towards the entrance of this park, close to the road and walking a few hundred feet to the cache. The entrance will simply look like a car tracks in the grass. There is no official marker.
