THE CACHE IS NOT LOCATED AT THE LISTED COORDINATES. Don’t worry, though, ‘cause the little puzzle is simple and hopefully kind of fun. Bring your own pencil or pen, ‘cause I didn’t provide one. FTF will find a $2 bill.
The cache is located on a bike path that runs between Minns Drive and Forest Hills in Machesney Park. You can find a place to park on either of these roads and would have a bit of a walk to the cache. I’m guessing it is a bit closer to Forest Hills. Traffic moves pretty fast along this stretch but I think you can find a place to get your car completely off the road. Your walk would probably between a quarter and half a mile. Of course, the best way would be to hop on your bike and enjoy a pretty ride to cache site. If you have time, ride under Forest Hills and pedal into Rock Cut Park. The path comes out of the woods with a spectacular view of the lake.
OK. Let’s figure out the puzzle and hit the road. The coordinates are going to be determined by replacing the letter –A-. –B-, -C-, etc. in the song title with the correct color. Then use the picture below to solve for coordinates. Here we go:
