Cache Of The Day - or known at my house as COTD, is the daily cache that you go out and get to keep your streak going.
COTD is not listed on GC.com website like FTF, DNF and TFTH, but maybe they will consider adding it. Like many other GCer's this year, I am attempting to find a cache for all 366 days.
Now a COTD is not necessarily going to be a P&G but should take less than 30 minutes to find and sign unless you have a lot of time on your hands every day.
There have been too many times in recent months that I find myself at 9:00 or 10:00PM and did not grab a cache for the day. Lucky for me, there is a power trail a few miles from my house that I can go to make a grab. Unfortunately, as the days and finds have passed, I have to go farther and father to get my COTD.
This is the start of a new series and represents the day of the week that I hid it. The hides will vary but none should be too difficult.
Now about this hide -
The cache is not at the posted coordinates!
From the posted coordinates, project a waypoint 517 ft at a heading of 43 degrees.
*PLEASE WATCH FOR CARS ON YOUR WAY TO THE FINAL*
At the final, beware of muggles although you should be unobserved.
