C.E.L.L. Catherine Callbeck Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Norshley: The C.E.L.L. series has been enjoyed by London area cachers plus visitors for the past 4 years. Several caches have unfortunately gone missing, and several containers have fallen apart. It is now time to retire the series. All the containers have been retrieved, and now the caches are archived. Thanks for all the complimentary logs about the series.

Geocache Description:

The Clandeboye Extension of the London Loop extends east and south from Clandeboye. If you enjoyed the London Loop, here are a few more caches for you to find. These caches are named after famous Canadian women.

Catherine Callbeck was the first woman elected as premier of a province, when her Liberal party won the Prince Edward Island election in 1993. She resigned after 3 years as premier when her government proved unpopular after several controversial policies, and the Liberals lost the next election. She was appointed to the Senate of Canada in 1997 by Jean Chretien.

The cache is a small one, in the crook of a tree. There is a prize for FTF.
