A group of the type of "cars" used in the mining industry. Walk to the south past the last car and you'll find a spread-out pile of drill cores. According to my maps, the shaft house here is the Calumet and Hecla #13, with the hoisthouse to the east of it. One of the MANY C&H mines. Note... This is an historic site, removal of any artifacts is wrong. Sadly I came here in spring 2016 and almost all of the cores were gone. Goodbye history.
peanut butter container, contains logbook and small itrmd. The dryhouse of this mine is also near here. Located to the NW of the shaft, the dryhouse was the miners shower/change rooms.
