Geocache Description:

Quick park and grab.

The far North end of Wainuiomata in the past consisted of a farm owned by Sir William Fitzherbert (the road where the cache is found bears his name – Upper Fitzherbert Road). Much of this area has now been subdivided and built up, however a few farms still remain.

Cache is a 200ml Sistema container.
Contents when placed include a logbook and pencil, a First to Find gift and a variety of small swappables (especially for mini-cachers).
 
Could be a few muggles coming and going from the farms.
If you climb over the gate (near the green Hutt City Council sign) you can head up into the hills where there are several other geocaches. Not a short trek however.
