Geocache Description:


Gilgal Baptist Church was organized in 1828; the first building being a log structure. It was replaced with a wood frame building in 1856; this building now serves as the Fellowship Hall.

In 1834 a revival was held here at Gilgal; from it the church took in 135 new members.
