This cache is located a short pleasant drive from Yass.
This cache is near Derringullen Creek, on one of the many lovely back roads that snake around in the Yass area. The creek runs further on to cross the Hume Highway at a rest area before finally flowing into the Yass River.
You might see tawny frogmouth owls stick-like in the trees or a wallaby nearby!
The approach from the Wargeila Rd side can be flooded at the low level crossing after rains, however the road from the Lachlan Valley Way side is always clear. Gravel roads so slow down and enjoy!
