This cache has been archived.

Curglaff: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

Butterfly Bay is a Beautiful hidden beach, with golden sand and stunning views. If your lucky and come at the right time of year you can encounter thousands of monache butterflies here. Take some time to walk the beach and expore the caves.

To get to Butterfly bay you have to cross the rocks from Tauranga Bay, it is best to be there when the tide is low. This cache is over the caves, and requires a small rock climb, the best way up is to start climbing at the end of the small point nearest to the sea. The cache is a medium sized clear plastic container with a red lid. it has a log book and pencil and a few small items in it. feel free to take and add items.
