The Barrow Kipper
a quick cache on the roundabout in Barrow. WARNING - please be aware of traffic here and muggles. There is a pavement suitable for walking round all the way here, but please do be careful with young children.
Please note there is another cache nearby, which gets mistaken for this cache. you are looking for a small keyholder
The village is famous for a plesiosaur excavated here in 1851, of the species Rhomaleosaurus megacephalus, nicknamed the 'Barrow Kipper'. The dinosaur was found in a lime pit outside the village and can now be seen on display in the New Walk Museum in Leicester.
