NCIS - Pupu Springs

NCIS - What is it?
The NCIS (Nelson Caching Insomniacs Society) is a series of "Night" caches conceived and put out by Kiwi_Explorer and beltfamily. Some of them are put out individually, and some of them as a team. Night caches are generally designed to be easier when done at night, as it requires light to be seen in a way that may not be obvious during the day.
NCIS - How do I do it?
If you have never done a night cache before, you should probably start with one of the easier ones to get the idea. Especially because some of the harder ones in the NCIS series will challenge how you pick up clues along the way. At a minimum you will need a good torch.
About this cache
The final is a 2 litre container at the base of a tree under a rock. Please ensure it is secure before you leave. This NCIS cache should be doable if you have not done any of the others, but if you have done Cat & Mouse and Old Abe, then you will find your training makes this one pretty straight forward.
Go to the starting coordinates, follow the path down, when you have a choice, favour going left. Around the reference point start taking specific note of your surroundings to see of you can start picking up the Pupu trail.
There is always a small twist (it would be boring otherwise), so be prepared for something you haven't had to cope with before (if you are following this series).
