Royal is a ghost town that existed in the early 1900's. Originally called Bear Canyon the town was renamed Cameron, Rolapp, and finally Royal changing names each time a new ower took over. Royal is in Price Canyon acrossed the highway from the water plant that you see as you travel on Highway 6.
