Our first mult-stage cahce with a field puzzle to complete before you get to GZ.
The fifth of our DKP series is a multi-stage cache. This is our first multi-stage cache that requires a trip to one location to retrieve the co-ordinates for the actual cache site. At location one you will have a small word puzzle to solve using the letter tiles provided. The letters, when combined correctly, spell out two Leicestershire place names – each place having a name comprising eight characters. Once spelled correctly the co-ordinates of the actual cache will appear on the reverse of the letter tiles. HOWEVER care should be taken, and the co-ords cross checked on your GPS, as the place names contain two overlapping letters! Please keep the letter tiles dry and DO NOT loose the letter tiles at location one. PLEASE replace them in the bag provided. Those from outside the area may need a map to cross check the place names.
The route to the GZ takes you through some interesting farmland and one route to the cache site is via a small part of the Leicestershire Round. There is a stream and a pond on route so please take care of young children. Limited road side parking, or parking on a grass verge, can be found at nearby Belcher's Bar. Please do not park in the residents only parking pull-in.
