Geocache Description:

This small pier on the River Greagagh may appear of little significance, but in olden days before there was a bridge crossing the Blackwater near Youghal, this was the place where coal and corn was delivered to and from Clashmore to the ships docking at Youghal. It is located at the end of the cul-de-sac road leading down from the village, past the playground.

The cache is a small tupperware box placed near to the parking place.
