Geocache Description:

The cache is a tea tin on  Trail #383.  Suggested free parking at the Groom Creek Trailhead.  It's about a one mile walk to the cache.  The 383 trail is a 2.6 mile loop, so you might as well keep going and continue on the loop.  Cache is hidden in a rock formation between some short sawed off trees and the rock.  Please cover well.  I couldn't get a very good reading, so feel free to give updated coords or hints in your logs.  Have fun!

This loop is near the horse camp, so be prepared to meet horses on the trail.

Shadowfax: A horse of Rohan, the chief of the Mearas. Like the other mearas, Shadowfax was a grey or silver stallion and could understand the speech of Men. He was seemingly fearless. He could run faster than any other horse in Middle-earth. No one except Gandalf could ride Shadowfax, and he was given to Gandalf by King Théoden. He would not tolerate a bridle or saddle, and carried Gandalf by his own choice. His name means Shadow-mane (Old Norse fax meaning "mane"); the same element appears in the names of the horses Skinfaxi and Hrímfaxi
