Geocache Description:

This cache is placed to mark the trailhead of the Las Vegas Wash Trail connecting Christie Lane to Charleston Blvd. It seems like this section of trail was barely finished when it fell victim a couple of times to flooding because of the torrential rains. This area of the wash drains a significant amount of water whether it rains in this locale or elsewhere upstream. What had to amount to a massive clean up project has occurred, however, and now deserves recognition and attention of cachers and hikers alike. You gotta like the idea of a trail system which will eventually connect many points of the city to the Wetlands Park.
