This cache is placed to mark the Charleston entrance of the Las Vegas Wash Trail connecting Christie Lane to Charleston Blvd. The trail is an easy walk, but the entrance is a bit awkward to navigate and presently is not wheel chair friendly. Also, parking will be a tad tricky (you can’t park on Charleston). Rather than give a suggestion, I’ll leave it to the resourcefulness of the cacher, but there are several businesses nearby. I like the idea of parking at the other end (Christy Ln.) and hiking along the golf course and wash (about .75 miles). What a wonderful plan to build a trail system which will eventually connect many points of the city to the Wetlands Park.
