Geocache Description:

This is the fifth cache in our series Views of Kingskerswell (don’t panic, number 4 will be out very soon)

From this cache you can see the church of St Mary’s which was built in the 1500’s. Prior to the current building being there a chapel existed there and in 1301 the chapel was visited by the Dean and Chapter of Exeter. There is also mention of a church in the Doomsday entry for Kingskerswell.

You can also see the ruins of an old manor house, probably built by Sir John Dinham—a document of 1387 confirms that he had a manor house and chapel here in that year. Also visible is the Pound House that was part of the manor house complex. The Pound House is maintained by the Parochial Church Council and is used for quiet meditation and relaxation, for social events and for wedding photographs. The Manor House is now a Scheduled Ancient Monument http://www.ancientmonuments.info/en34450-kingskerswell-manor-house

You could do this as a cache & dash. You are looking for a 300ml screw top container – happy hunting and please rehide well.
