This cache has been placed in an area known locally as 'The Swag', or 'The Green', as I always call it.
There are often plenty of different people around, such as dog walkers, bird watchers and parents taking their children to feed the ducks. Beware of the hoards of Canada Geese that can often be found on the grass. And also, what they leave behind in the grass!
There are some lay-bys near to the cache location so you can pull off the road safely. If you are caching at the weekend, you may also see some yachts on the lake, as we did when we placed the cache.
There is another cache nearby which you can walk to, if you wish.
You may wish to bring some gloves as there are stinging nettles around GZ.
Please take care to replace the cache in the correct position.
